2 is fine, but if you were trying to plagiarize (which you are here, although not anywhere else of course!) you would remove the quotation marks. is 3 also a quote from baker? In which case, it would not be a paraphrase. 4 seems more like your own interpretation, in which case it would not be plagiarism. Which is of course fine for the future, just make sure you understand why this isn't plagiarism and what it would look like to borrow an idea in a way that rendered it plagiarism.
